That show has been seen everywhere from Las Vegas to Tokyo, London to Tel Aviv. With Lisa Kron's 2.5 Minute Ride, (which David produced in New York and San Francisco), and Kenny Lonergan's Lobby Hero (West End), he's shown his support for new writing that is polemical, political, and hilarious. On Broadway, David has produced benefit readings of Larry Kramer's The Normal Heart with Barbra Streisand, (which was recorded and released by Simon and Schuster Audio), and Tony Kushner's Slavs! featuring a cross-dressing cast of comediennes including Tracey Ullman, Sandra Bernhard, and the late Madeline Kahn. David's first and longest running project is a seasonal reading series of Truman Capote's A Christmas Memory with a rotating cast that has included Matthew Broderick, Cherry Jones, Nathan Lane, Kevin Spacey and Elaine Stritch, among many, many others.
